Dr. Lucila Ohno-Machado, MD, MBA, PhD, is Deputy Dean for Biomedical Informatics and founding chair of the Section of Biomedical Informatics and Data Science at Yale School of Medicine. She is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine and is the principal investigator for one of the regional medical center sites for the NIH All of Us Research Program. Ohno-Machado is also one of the principal investigators for the NIH-funded Bridge to AI Center, and for the Center for Admixture Science and Technology, a Center of Excellence in Genome Science. Dr. Ohno-Machado has experience in privacy-preserving distributed analytics for healthcare and biomedical sciences and was one of the founders of UC-Research eXchange, of the patient-center SCAlable National Network for Effectiveness Research, and other clinical data research network initiatives.
