Allison B. McCoy, PhD, ACHIP, is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics in the School of Medicine at Vanderbilt University and Scientific Director of the Vanderbilt Clinical Informatics Core. Her research focuses on developing and implementing novel, generalizable approaches to evaluating and improving electronic health records and clinical decision support using existing data sources and bringing them to the point of care to improve healthcare quality and safety across multiple healthcare organizations.
