David Little, MD, MS, FAMIA, is a physician informaticist at Epic. His primary role at Epic is to support health care organizations in implementing and using the software successfully. He serves as Physician Liaison for 47 Epic organizations, and has supported over 60 go-lives since joining Epic in 2010. He also consults regularly with Epic developers regarding the clinical aspects of the software with a focus on the ambulatory applications. Most recently, he has worked with the Epic Health Research Network as an investigator and clinical validation reviewer. Prior to joining Epic, Dr. Little practiced and taught Family Medicine for 19 years as an Associate Professor at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. He also provided inpatient and outpatient care through the Kettering Health Network. David is a member of the AHRQ CDSiC Implementation, Adoption, and Scaling workgroup.
