Deborah Collyar is the Founder and President of Patient Advocates in Research (PAIR), an international communication network. Collyar has vast experience as a patient advocate in many areas, from translational and clinical research to epidemiology, health outcomes, and health delivery research. She has experience with multi-sector partnerships with academia, federal agencies, the private sector, and patient communities. Collyar has collaborated with Health Literacy Media, the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review, the Oncology Research Information and Exchange Network, the National Cancer Institute, FDA, and Society for Immunotherapy in Cancer on methods to increase patient engagement and advocacy.
