Jordan Everson, PhD, MPP, is a public health analyst at the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy (ASTP) within the Department of Health and Human Services. He holds a PhD in Health Services Organization and Policy from the University of Michigan, and has published widely on health information technology and interoperability drawing largely from surveys of patients, physicians, hospital leaders, and electronic health records data. At ASTP, he served as one of the primary drafters of the revision to the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) certification criteria for decision support interventions.
