Patrick “Mac” Schoen, MSc, is an epidemiologist with a background in reproductive and sexual health research. Mac is a Senior Advisor in HHS HRSA’s Office of Planning, Analysis, and Evaluation (OPAE). Prior, Mac was a statistician at HRSA’s Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) in the Office of Policy and Program Development, where he focused on BPHC’s strategic directions and had worked on modernization efforts with BPHC’s Uniform Data System (UDS) to develop the UDS Patient-Level Submission (UDS+). He was recently detailed to the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health to work on the Initiative to Strengthen Primary Health Care. Before moving to HRSA, he worked as a statistician at the VA Center of Excellence for Suicide Prevention with electronic health information from the VHA data warehouse and other service history data. |
