Dr. Richard Schreiber, MD, FACP, FAMIA, was most recently Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer (aCMIO) at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center. Dr. Schreiber is board certified in Clinical Informatics, a Professor of Medicine at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, an Associate in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a Fellow of the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA). He is also Chair of AMIA’s Clinical Information Systems Working Group. An informaticist, internist, geriatrician, educator, and researcher by training, Schreiber’s expertise centers on Clinical Decision Support. He will continue his informatics work even as he retires from his position as aCMIO.
