The CDS Outcomes and Objectives Workgroup Base Period Charter formally initiates the work of the Workgroup under the CDSiC Stakeholder Center. This document outlines the purpose and goals of the Workgroup as an essential pillar of thought leadership that leverages the knowledge of clinical decision support (CDS) experts to ensure we have measures to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of CDS products. The CDS Outcomes and Objectives Workgroup will advise the Innovation Collaborative’s short- and long-term agenda for CDS activities. The Workgroup will ensure that the CDSiC’s broader agenda addresses stakeholder CDS needs and advances the translation of patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR)-based evidence through CDS.
