Measurement is a crucial process to ensure that PC CDS tools are meeting the needs of their users, from patients and caregivers to clinicians and researchers. However, it can be difficult for stakeholders to evaluate the use and impact of PC CDS implementations. In response, the CDSiC has developed several resources that support the rigorous evaluation of PC CDS.  

About the How-To Guide  

This How-To Guide shares an overview of the CDSiC-developed resources that lay the foundation for effective PC CDS assessments. These resources explore multiple aspects of PC CDS measurement, from effective measurement approaches and existing performance measures to considerations for assessing the value of PC CDS and priority of outcomes that matter most to patients.
