The Trust and Patient-Centeredness Workgroup Base Period Charter formally initiates the work of the Workgroup under the CDSiC Stakeholder Center. This document outlines the purpose and goals of the Workgroup as an essential pillar of thought leadership that leverages the knowledge of CDS experts to ensure CDS products and tools empower patients. The Trust and Patient-Centeredness Workgroup will be critical to the cultivation of patient and clinician trust in CDS recommendations; this will be done by fostering transparency in the processes of CDS design, development, testing, implementation, and use. The Workgroup will create a forum through which stakeholders can advise the Innovation Collaborative in creating patient-centered CDS products and conducting CDS demonstration projects.
