CDSiC Stakeholder Community and Outreach Center Charter - Option Year 2

The CDSiC Stakeholder Community and Outreach Center Option Year 2 Charter is a document that describes the purpose, goals, and key activities of the Stakeholder Center.

The CDSiC Stakeholder Community and Outreach Center Charter formally initiates the Option Year 2 work of the Stakeholder Center. Through its Workgroups, the Stakeholder Center will create a forum where members representing diverse perspectives within the clinical decision support (CDS) ecosystem can tackle persistent CDS challenges, foster innovation, and accelerate uptake of CDS within the U.S. healthcare system. Workgroup members will also review and recommend CDS concepts for demonstration in real-world applications and help develop products to advance CDS.

The CDSiC Stakeholder Center Charter describes the rationale and goals for establishing the Stakeholder Center. It defines the objectives of the Center as an essential pillar for thought leadership and bringing together the stakeholder community within the Innovation Collaborative. In this document, users can find information relating to:

  • The vision and mission of the CDSiC
  • The purpose and reason for establishing the Stakeholder Center
  • Objectives of the Stakeholder Center
  • Outputs and projected outcomes of Stakeholder Center activities
  • Constraints and potential challenges related to Stakeholder Center activities
  • Relevant stakeholders who are involved with or affected by Stakeholder Center work
  • Decision-making frameworks to guide recommendations made by the Stakeholder Center for CDSiC activities

The primary audiences of the Stakeholder Center Charter are AHRQ, Stakeholder Center leadership, and the Stakeholder Center Planning Committee.
