The CDS Standards and Regulatory Frameworks Workgroup Base Period Charter formally initiates the work of the Workgroup under the CDSiC Stakeholder Center. This document outlines the purpose and goals of the Workgroup as an essential pillar of thought leadership that leverages the knowledge of clinical decision support (CDS) experts to ensure patient-centered CDS (PC CDS) products and tools empower patients. The CDS Standards and Regulatory Frameworks Workgroup will advise the Innovation Collaborative on the impact of standards, rules, regulations, or policies concerning PC CDS. The Workgroup will monitor, track activities, and engage with external standards groups and regulatory groups as well as develop and vet recommendations to advance shareable, standards-based CDS.
